How I decide what matters

AI moves quickly. My job is to work out what is genuinely useful, check the evidence and explain it honestly.

  1. 1

    Start with people

A story matters if it could change what you understand, choose or do.

  2. 2

    Check the evidence

A company announcement is a claim, not proof. I keep original sources, independent evidence and any uncertainty clearly separate.

  3. 3

Give you enough to understand the story

You should not have to click a link just to make sense of the headline. Links are there so you can check the evidence or explore further.

  4. 4

Be clear about what is fact and what is my view

Sourced facts and Millie’s take are kept separate. When I make a recommendation, I give you a plain, practical verdict.

  5. 5

Keep updates with the original story

Living Story Dossiers bring important developments, corrections and changes to my recommendations together in one place.

  6. 6

AI never decides what gets published

AI may help me prepare a draft inside a private editorial workflow that I start. But I choose the stories, check the facts, edit the copy and deliberately publish every public item myself.
